THE DAILES THEATRE WELCOMES YOU TO ITS PERFORMANCE PARADE!
From the 19th to the 21st of April, 2018
The Dailes Theatre has been the largest drama theatre in Latvia for almost a 100 years.
Three years ago, the approaching 100th anniversary of the theatre served as one of the inspirations behind creation of a novel approach to development of its international relations – the Dailes Theatre Performance Parade.
The first Performance Parade took place in Spring 2015 offering a programme of 17 plays of the past seasons that had received positive reviews by theatre professionals and audiences alike. The following year, in Spring 2016, it included 4 productions with translation in English provided for international audiences.
Whilst the target audience of the Dailes Theatre Performance Parade remains local and international theatre professionals, everyone with an interest in theatre is most welcome.
This season, the Performance Parade will offer 4 particularly remarkable plays, staged in the theatre’s Main hall and the Chamber hall, with an additional offer to watch a performance in the Small hall.
The main goal of the Dailes Theatre Performance Parade is to receive feedback and advice, as well as to create ideas for future projects, foster fruitful dialogue on current issues in theatre among professionals and theatres around the world.
