WHO'S AFRAID OF MRS WOLF?

/ With an English translation in subtitles /

A relationship drama in II acts
Within the framework of the creative experiences project „Free Stage”
Translation from English by Jānis Elsbergs
Premiere on 10 October 2017

Martha and George are a married couple playing dangerous emotional games. When after a celebration they receive another married couple for a drink, Martha and George’s marriage is revealed to be on the brink of collapse. Humiliating reproaches and agressive derision uncover a relationship of bitterness and frustrated expectations.

However, Nick and Honey’s marriage is not entirely ideal, either. Little by little, tearing down the illusions they’ve cherished and painfully returning to the uncomfortable reality, they need to live through this Walpurgis Night together and cast out the deeply-hidden demons in a ritual of exorcism.

Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (1962) has won a Tony Award for Best Play.
