/A musical in 2 acts/
Premiere – 29 January 2016

The 100 year war between France and England is the longest war in the history of mankind. France is drowning in blood, the nation has lost hope, and only a miracle can save the country. It has been foretold however, that France will be saved by the Maid of Lotharingia - a commoner. A dove will turn into an eagle, the cross into a sword and France will rise like a phoenix from the ashes.
Jeanne has very little time to fulfil her destiny. She is being called by the voice of God. She will go through fire and remain in the hearts of the people forever.
In 1920, 500 years after her death, the Catholic church canonized Jeanne D’Arc. According to legend, the fire didn’t scar her heart – it still beats for France and will do so forever and a day.
