JOKES OF THE OUTSKIRTS /A Lullaby for Good Sense in 1 Act/

Priemiere: 18 March, 2015

Having arranged for a placement in the army, the young Ivan sets off on a long journey to meet Luda who he has met through an exchange of letters. In the photograph she looks fine, but everything should be well thought through.

In the back of beyond, its quite civilised. Luda has alcohol – after all, she’s a doctor! Drunk on spirt, a person can talk and get up to all sorts of things, no?

Ivan’s entire life is in front of him and he has great plans. Every day he promises himself that he will leave that place. Every day, we all promise ourselves that we will escape from the wilderness. Every day we promise ourselves anew...
